Harper’s Bazaar x DVF’s Wrap Dress

Diane von Furstenberg continues to celebrate the anniversary of her invention,the already iconic wrap dress that this year celebrates 40 years of success. Why such a success? First of all the style flattered any body shape.Made from silk jersey it is perfect to be wear from day to night so you can feel both professional and feminine,perfect to throw in your luggage when traveling and take it with no wrinkles. Diane recalls : ”It was a nothing little dress, but it became a major thing—the easiest, simplest, most flattering thing a woman could wear.”

DVF celebrates these 40 years of success with an exhibition in L.A. that opened on January,11 until April 1, 2014entitled “DVF 40, Journey Of A Dress” . For its February issue the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar did a special shooting ,tribute to the famous garment .
