♥BALMAIN♥ SS 2012 by Olivier Rousteing

I have a serious love affair with this brand. Designer Olivier Rousteing, has done himself very proud. He followed on from Christopher Decarnin and has fully embraced the ‘look’ of Balmain. But he has also managed to make the collection his own at the same time.

The detailing on the pieces is ornate and intricate swirls and embroidered patterns and a pastel floral pattern that leaves the onlooker quite mesmerised. Or is that just me?

The bold shoulder is still there, the sharp cuts, the skinny jeans, the hot pants, and tiny mini dresses. But as I said before it looks different. May be it is the addition of maxi skirts and boyfriend cut jeans? I don’t know! All I do know is I love the entire collection.
